Dear Florida Law Review Alumni,

It is hard to believe that the year is over, and what a year it has been.

Over the past months, the Review welcomed speakers from around the country for our Poucher and Dunwody lectures, sent members to Israel to represent UF as part of a Law Review Editors Delegation, saw a former Editor in Chief become a Florida Supreme Court Justice, trained and became friends with a new class of members, and more—all while working diligently to select, edit, and publish articles.

My time as Editor in Chief comes to a close soon, and it is a bittersweet goodbye. I have loved serving the Florida Law Review and her members, and have been awed by the dedication, kindness, and support that I have seen. My time on the Review has given me more than just editorial skills and far more late nights in the library than any 3L wants. The Review introduced me to people who have become my friends, my role models, and my family. As I prepare to leave Gainesville, I know that I will miss this place tremendously. However, I could not be more excited to see where the incoming Executive Board will take the Review, and I could not imagine a better team to pass the gavel to.

Thank you to every Reviewer, past and present, who took the time to support this wonderful organization. It has been an honor serving as your Editor in Chief.

Sincerely yours,
Danielle N. Scheer
