We are proud to announce Dean John C. Jeffries, Jr. will be speaking at this year’s Dunwody Distinguished Lecture in Law.
The lecture is taking place on Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at 11am in the Chesterfield Ceremonial Classroom (Room 180) at the University of Florida Levin College of Law. Dean Jeffries’s lecture is tentatively titled “Rationalizing Qualified Immunity”.
Dean Jeffries joins a long list of renown legal scholars to speak in the Dunwody lecture series, including Ronald Dworkin, Cass Sunstein, Erwin Chemerinsky, and Lawrence Lessig. In fact, our December 2009 book includes last year’s Dunwody lecture by Akhil Reed Amar entitled “Bush, Gore, Florida, and the Constitution”. More about Professor Amar’s lecture and the responses by Erwin Chemerinsky, Ellen Katz, Rick Hasen, and Nelson Lund can be found here.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. All of us at Fla. L. Rev. hope to see you there!
